Gen 3:15 ( And I will put enmity between thee and the woman, and between thy seed and her seed; it shall bruise thy head, and thou shall bruise his heel)
There is enmity going on between the seed of the serpent and the seed of the woman, this curse was issued in Eden to the serpent against disobedience of Adam and his wife, God placed the curse to barr any relationship that will ensue between woman and the serpent.
Devil strategized the relationship to bring his species to the world, thanks to the disobedience of man which gave him that opportunity.
No one else can fight this battle and win, Satan always prevail by bruising the heel of the woman and stagnate the progress of her seed, preventing him from seeking the true God.
God promised that it’s the seed of the woman that will finally bruise the serpent head, while preparing for the fulfillment by making way for Christ to come through the virgin Mary.
In every human, there is a seed of serpent in operation.
The fruit of the tree of knowledge of good and evil they ate in the garden had grown to become seed of sin and the flesh that alters the progress of man in seeking God.
This seed is what joins human created in God’s image with demons; the seed of the serpent. Jesus came to separate man from demons through his death and resurrection.
No man is good, no one is actually seeking God, we all walk perversely in the way of the flesh to seek His face which brings us under the authority of the devil.
Every thought of man is evil everyday.
Jesus came as the seed of the woman, ready to stop satan activities and put his work on hold.
He bruised the head of ancient serpent, but the serpent first bruised his heel by nailing Him to the Cross, which in turn gave Him power to spoil principalities and powers and make public show of them in His Cross.
Whoever accepted him is given power to trample on serpent and scorpion and over all the powers of the enemy, He syphoned the poison of the snake, which is the power of sin and gave humans victory over sin.
It’s the presence of Christ in one’s life that gives one authority to rule over sin, which is the seed of the serpent.
Jesus is the one holding the key of David in his hand, he shut and no man open, opened and nobody can shut. He gave dominion over the powers of darkness to those who believe.
Satan was called old serpent because his nature doesn’t change, so also his system, it’s only those who are ignorant of his antics that are put under his captivity.
Satan appointed his seed to hinder the men of God from proceeding to the next level of their assignments in God.
He appointed Kora, Dathan and Abiram to stop Moses, he tried to stop Nehemiah from building the wall of Jerusalem by sending his seed in the name of Tobias and Sanballat.
He appointed Judas to betrayed Jesus, not knowing that this is the way to stop him from intruding into the affair of humanity forever.
He collected the keys to the gate of death and hell from the devil: bruising of his heel led to bruising of serpent head perpetually.
We are all assigned for missions in the world, but Satan would strategized his agents to stop us by bringing stumbling block on the way.
Those who lose their faith end up in alliance with Satan, but whoever endure to the end shall be saved.
Whoever harbours the seed of serpent is a prey to the forces of darkness, it’s sin in us that gives satan dominion over us.
This is what christ came to forfeit by bringing us to His image.
All authority belong to the seed of the woman, there was silence in heaven when angel announced who will open the book and break the seal.
No one in heaven and on earth is able to do it, even none of the elders are worthy, including the cherubim and seraphim in heaven.
It’s the lion of the tribe of Judah who turned Lamb and came from the throne that was worthy to open the book and break the seal therefore, for he sacrifice himself to do so.
Whichever method the world is applying to fight Satan will be to their disadvantage, and bring advantages to the serpent.
Authority was given to the seed of the woman to take over the earth and hand over the keys to the generation of man, they owns it from the beginning.
Whoever is integrated with the seed of the woman which is Christ Jesus has advantage over the devil.
Jesus is sitting on the throne. No life escapes the sovereignty of His throne, all life is established by the will of the one who is sitting on it.
Man for example, does not choose his own birth, his own race, neither does he choose the time and place of his death.
All of these are subject to the sovereign will of the one who sit on the throne, men who can’t control very little shake a defiant fist at the one who sit on the throne.
Authority of a child of God rests in the Lord Jesus, if our message drifts slightest degree from Him, we will have forfeited all of our authority and power.
We aren’t bringing message but the person of Jesus Christ, he is the one sealed and chosen by God to bear the responsibility of bruising the head of the ancient serpent.
