God wants returns. He provided what is needed for human survival since the time of creation before putting man to till it so that man will bring forth
Isaiah 5:1-2 Now I will sing to my well-loved a song of my beloved touching his vineyard. My beloved has a vineyard in a very fruitful hill, and he fenced it and gathered out the stones thereof, planted it with the choicest vine, built a tower in the midst of it, and also made a winepress therein, and he looked that it should bring forth grapes. vs. 4, what could have been done more to my vineyard that I have not done in it? Therefore, when I looked that it should bring forth grapes, brought it forth wild grapes?
The Earth Is God’s Vineyard
God planted His vineyard, and it’s the earth.
He provided what is needed for human survival since the time of creation before putting man to till it so that man will bring forth fruits for Him in due season.
Whatever is provided for man on earth is His investment in mankind to survive in the physical and also made provision of the Lamb as means of surviving spiritually. After all these, what He expects are the returns of His investment.
He invested in man and wanted his returns to yield harvest into his garden. He is not a wasteter who wastes any resources on things that don’t hold value.
We are on earth to fulfill purpose; He didn’t create without a purpose.
Everything given man is for the benefit of the kingdom and for the propagation of His works on earth.
Man’s reward is in heaven; if it’s only in the world that we have hope, we will be the most wretched one living on earth.
Whatever He gave on earth is for the benefit of His kingdom, material or financial, is to make things easy for the people in His kingdom.
God is a businessman. He invested physically and spiritually to bring His purpose to pass concerning mankind. He wants returns on His investment.
His blood still speaks for every human being on earth. It depends on our response to the voice of the speaking blood that determines the results.
God invested the blood of his son for our salvation; whoever refused to yield himself wasted it and will be held responsible on the last day.
God’s returns on His investment are the fruit of our lives that show that his blood isn’t wasted: we are saved to save others. If we experience the power of salvation that comes through his sacrifice, we need to let others know by telling them the wonderful story of love.
It’s His grace that is keeping his investment in us.
Satan wants to waste us with ephemeral things of the world, but his grace and mercy are keeping us from all harm and keep us till we meet up with His expectations.
The Resources God Invests In Man
God invests his word and his gifts; none of His word will go unfulfilled, even if heaven and earth should pass away.
We must use it to the glory and honour of His name.
A servant was given one talent but kept it to his own damnation; he thought he can keep it without bringing any profits to God, but it was taken from him and given to another who used his own to gain profit, and his potion was made with infidels.
What are we using the resource of heaven for? Are we using it to glorify the works of darkness or for the edification of the church?
God will ask us on the day of judgement how we spend the resource of heaven. We were endowed differently according to individuals ability.
Even the children given to us are for a purpose which we will all give account on how we raised them; they’re resources from God, which we are to look after.
Some parents that don’t train their children will have God to face on that day.
We are to raise them according to the word of God, not to the dictation of the world and society.
God knows that we are capable by his grace to teach them on the right path; that is why they were given to us.
Whatever they become in life needs to do with how we handle them.
Many Christians have turned their children to their god; they’re the ones telling the parents what to do, not otherwise.
Most parents will go to hell because of their children; God will ask them on the day of judgement.
God invested in earth before he created man. He put everything into their hands—the fruit of the earth to satisfy their flesh and the Word to satisfy their souls.
It’s unfortunate that man wasted the earth investment and handed it over to their enemy, which turned them to captives and strangers in their land.
They can’t eat out of it unless they pay obeisance to Satan.
Everything on earth is an investment of God to make everything comfortable for human beings. As he wants our life to be comfortable, so also our soul.
He fertilized our souls with the nourishment of the Word, to yield bountiful fruit of repentance and to help others to know God.
If God can’t find any tangible fruits after much fertilizer, he will cut it down so that it won’t just expand and prevent others from bringing fruits.
God’s Return On Investment Is The Fruit of A Man’s Life
God is expecting from us fruit of repentance and the fruits of our actions that show we truly belong to Him.
We are God’s investment; whoever comes to the world has things vested in him by God. It depends on how you utilize your own, either to the glory of his name or to bring shame and reproach to His kingdom.

We were all formerly working in the flesh to glorify the devil, but his mercy found us and translated us to his kingdom, to disrupt the purpose of Satan for the church of God; in life, it’s either you’re useful for Satan or used for the glory of God, no middle ground.
We will all give an account of how we spend whatever is deposited into our lives. Those who died without fulfilling their mission came to the world in vain.
They were buried with the deposit of God and will give account on the day of judgement.
A tree that doesn’t bring fruit is not useful to the farmers; it can only become material for fire, so also anyone who comes to the world and doesn’t bring tangible fruits for God will live his life wasted and will be cut down and cast into hell in the end.
Prayer: Father, Lord, don’t let me live a wasted life in Jesus name, amen
