Matt 6:24 ( No man can serve two masters, for either he will hate the one and love the other; or else he will hold to the one, and despise the other. Ye can not serve God and Mammon.
Who is Mammon?
Mammon is among the principalities that are competing with God for the souls of men since the fall, he erected his stronghold in man’s heart which makes him run after the vanity of life that lacks eternal value.
God and Mammon are not in the same level, those who introduce it to the church to compete with the Almighty are trying to join them together in unholy matrimony, which result in luring men to worship Mammon in the service of the living God.
Mammon is one of the prince of darkness, fallen from heaven since Satan rebel against God, he was cast out with other fallen angels which they took their stronghold all over the earth, with each demon with their territories; mammon took over the wealth of the earth, also in charge of bringing poverty so that men will come to him for assistance; thereby give wealth in exchange for their souls.
All the vanity life is under his control including wealth and everything related to mundane things which human beings are running after; those who are under satanic manipulation.
This prince has find his place in the church, introduced to the saints by anointed ministers of the devil, who enter alliance with him to become rich by luring other in to the trap of Mammon.
No one serve God and Mammon together, the moment Mammon is acknowledged, that’s the moment the presence of God departed.
That is why it’s difficult to experience holiness where Mammon reigns, it’s the grace of God that bring purity, but that grace is wanting where God’s presence is lacking. His righteousness is out of the way wherever Mammon set his stronghold in people’s heart.
Preaching of Mammon separate the hearer from the love of God, it makes them build their treasures and hide it on earth, thereby forget their home in heaven.

This is what Satan wants to achieve by introducing Mammon worship to the saints; the true gospel is, “For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believes in him should not perish but have everlasting life.
He gave His Son for man to be saved, not to be rich, this is where men miss it, it not prosperity that give eternal life, but the faith in the Son of God.
The Bible was present to honour God and His Son from Genesis to revelation; anywhere the Word of God is not honour is not the gathering of the sons of God.
It’s the prince of the world that is in charge of prosperity preaching in our generation; this is his antics to cage man inside the bondage of Mammon and make them depart from the true gospel.
It’s unfortunate that most Christians don’t understand this, the plan of God for His children is to have things that is relevant to their earthly survival, to first seek the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all other things shall follow.
It’s unfortunate that this preaching is turn inside out for men to seek what gives pleasure to the flesh first before running after the things of God, meanwhile, by doing that will only remove passion for God from the heart of those who seek after this vanity.
God has reason for putting it that way, to first seek Him, because it’s inside of Him that our earthly and heavenly treasures are hidden, it’s until we seek Him diligently with all our heart that we can find rest for our souls; what Satan presented to represent this gospel is counterfeit, which was designed to steal our souls in the end.
What is the profit of gaining the world and lose our souls in hell, this is exactly what Satan wants to achieve by introducing this gospel, but we are not aware, for our spiritual understanding of his antics is darkened.
God wants to bless His people and whatever God gives is not the reward for serving him, He gives to make it easy for us to achieve the purpose for which we were created, because with poverty we can’t go far in our calling.
Our reward is not in earthly treasure as many presumed, our reward is in heaven, which no man can comprehend, if only in this world that we have gain, we are the most miserable people on earth; if it’s to prepare men for riches we preach the gospel, wealthy men won’t have things to do with our God, for without our God, they’re already become successful.
God won’t reveal what He prepared for us to any man, ” eyes have not seen and ear have not heard what God prepared for the heirs of salvation” its until we get to heaven, that we are going to see what God has prepared for those who serve Him diligently.
It’s not a sin or an error for Christian to be rich in life, but not at the expense of his soul, teaching of Mammon which is prosperity preaching place money worship above the worship of the Most high.
It plant covetousness in the heart of believers which make them fight to become rich at all cost, it lead to selfish ambitions among tbe saints, which make men covet what is not in their power; even if they need to do things unimaginable to get there.
It plant greed in the heart, and empowered the lust of the flesh and the lust of eyes and the pride of life; this is what God want us to eradicate before He bless us, but the preaching of prosperity activate it to manifest to the fullest and endanger the soul.
No man can love God and Mammon together, that’s why it’s difficult for the prosperity preacher to bring men inline with the word of God, their dressing is aligned with the world because they’re under the control of its Prince, the day they chose money above God.
That is why there is lawlessness in their midst, they do thing contrary to the Bible in pursuit of things that perish.
God is the God of Abraham, and the God of Isaac and the God of Jacob, none of these were poor, they were great to the extent that nations bowed for their God.
But they walk in line with the Word of God, they obey Him even if it affects their relationship with men; they followed God and riches met them on the way and overtake them.
God don’t want His people to be poor, but He can’t tolerate rivalry: prosperity preaching place God and Mammon together, that is why it’s lethal to our spiritual advancement.
They put God in the background in their worship and put riches and wealth in the lead, since the presence of God is lacking in their midst, His fear had also departed, it negate the law of holiness and sanctification, that is why it’s difficult for the followers of prosperity preachers to live a consecrated life, their fruits shows that its not the true God they worhsip, but other things claiming to be God.
Remember that Jesus said, “by their fruit you will know them”.
Everything detested by God is what they added to the worship of the living God; most of them still drink, they don’t have respect for the law of marriage, they divorce to marry another, they put on all manners of jewelry, make up with attachment on their heads; if we are truly spiritually sensitive, we will know that their actions speak volumes. It’s only those who know their Bible that will understand that they aren’t worshipping the true God, but the prince of the world who allows those kinds of things to be displayed wherever he is honoured, because that is what gives him pleasure and satisfaction over men.
This means that it’s not the dread of Jacob they serve, the God that told Moses to tell the children of Israel to remove all their jewelry so he wouldn’t destroy them.
It’s not the God that speaks through Peter that Christians should not let their adornment be of outward appearance but of inner beauty.
It’s not also the God that told Paul that women should cover their heads while praying because of the angels in attendance, as not to incur their wrath.
God only manifests wherever His Word is honoured, not in a place where they despise Him to satisfy their wanton desire; so if God doesn’t appear there, which other god are they praying to? Their fruit will expose them, and their sin will find them out.
Those who claimed that Christians are with different cultures according to their different organizations are hiding to cover the error they need to expose because judgement descends against every disobedience.
What The Word of God Says About Mammon
The language of all Christians is the Bible; their culture is the Word of God, written to make one wise and bring a person closer to God; other languages and cultures that are not in line with the word of God are from the heathens and idolatrous nations, sent to pollute the gathering of the people of God.
The Word of God is settled forever in heaven; not an iota of it will change even if heaven and earth should pass away; nothing can change His principles concerning blessing; we must seek Him first. He knows we’re in need of all these, but it must not become our priority and motive for serving Him.
This Bible we neglect so far will be the one that will judge us on the last day; it was given to us to guide and to correct: our character and relationships with the world, Satan, and God are measured by what is written inside; whoever despises it despises the one who wrote it, and we must give an account on the day of judgement; remember, He honors His Word more than His name.
He wants us to serve Him and revere Him as He is, not because of the benefits; even though rich or poor, all He needs is our loyalty and faithfulness.
That is when he’ll open the windows of heaven at the appointed time and release all that we needed to achieve our purpose on earth that will bring glory to His name.
