Romans 8:15-16 (For ye have not received the spirit of bondage again to fear; but ye have received the Spirit of adoption, whereby we cry, Abba, Father. The Spirit itself bearth witness with our spirit that we are the children of God.
Adoption is a legal process of bringing a stranger into the family to claim the same inheritance as the biological children of the household.
An adopted child has every right as a child of the family; adopted children are higher in ranking than servants of the household.
The call of salvation is for every Christian to become a member of God’s family as His son, whereby he has every right to address God as Abba Father.
This power is given at redemption for those who believe in becoming sons and daughters of God; it depends on how we utilise it that brings this purpose to fulfilment.
It’s very unfortunate that those who determined to remain as servants are still claiming the right to sonship in the house of God; they stand by the well of water but are still thirty and sit by the table of bread of life and still suffer hunger; they stay with the family of butchers but still feed on bones.
There are levels for individuals in the household, to stay as a vessel of honour or remain as the vessel of dishonour, or to remain in the servant quarters or advance to the palace where princes dwell.
It depends on how we walk the path to reach the top of the ladder that’ll determine the position we hold in the family, “work out your salvation with fear and trembling”.
It’s because most Christians refused to advance to the cross where the spirit of adoption is given, and the right to inheritance is granted, to dump their attire of slavery and put on the garment of princes; this is what makes them remain in the same spot forever.
There are prayers that one will pray that an answer won’t be granted unless there is a change in level; some answers are meant for the sons, not for dogs unless they want to take out of the crumbs that fell from the master’s table.
Most Christians remain halfway to the top, the mediocre level; they’re holding onto the properties of Egypt and still want to advance to the promised land, which can never be possible.
Many are called, but few are chosen; grace is given to all to become what God desire for our life; it depends on us to use it and achieve the purpose of our calling.
Many trample on that grace, and many misuse it and still want it to multiply; some use it to invoke the wrath of God by committing more sin; just a few apply it to get to the top of their spiritual ladder.
A Christian that is with the spirit of adoption has the same right as Christ in God’s heritage; he’s shared glory with Him, so also power.
Angels in heaven acknowledge it and pay obeisance to the heirs of salvation by rejoicing for a sinner who comes to God.
It’s not only to start well but to finish well that matters; there are the overcomers who will sit with Him on the throne to judge the angels.
God gave up His only begotten Son to gain more sons that will have the same image and likeness as Christ and share the inheritance with Him.
Are you sure you belong to this set of people?
How can a Christian who believes in astral travel, who not only practices it but teaches others how to do it lay claim to the sonship of God?
Or a Christian that still flies to a coven of witchcraft and does all manner of evil for the devil be grafted into the family of God? Unless there is life exchange at the cross.
There is no communion with light and darkness and no relationship between the Kingdom of God and the kingdom of Belial; no resemblance between Christ and serpent.
You can’t claim to have the spirit of God and still dress like Jezebel; it’s what is inside that’s manifesting outside.
Iron and clay can’t blend no matter the mixture, their generation will speak against them.
Unless that fallen image is dumped at the cross to receive the new image of Christ, you will find out that you won’t be able to get to the gate of pearls not to talk of entering.
That place belongs to the sons and daughters who are transformed into the image of their father through Christ.
No one adopted into God’s family will continue in sin; it becomes alien to their nature because the seed of God dwells in them.
