The power of God is the ability to do and was released on the day of Pentecost to the saints with the appearance of tongues of fire; Peter, who was timid before then, won three thousand souls for God on the same day.
Apostle Paul was able to withstand the powers that be and launched into the deep to deliver souls from the captivity of the enemy.
Let God be proud of you as a Christian that is is worth his salt.
I remember when I was staying in a community that the power of that place, my landlady, took me to their king’s palace to tender accusations against me for bringing strange fire to the neighbourhood because of my daily devotion.
It was the landlady of that house that reported me to their king, begging the king to chase me out of the house before three months.
Even their chiefs were afraid of me in their palace, begging me not to call fire on them, but I told them that the will of God should be done.
It was that landlady that later packed out when she couldn’t withstand the heat of the environment that was loaded with the fire of God; it’s until I finish my assignment in that area after ten years that I left.
The first believers were offensive to the kingdom of darkness, which is why they were chased out of synagogue, and most of them were martyred.
They were offensive to the extent that the Pharisees and the scribes gnashed their teeth at the apostles whenever they were preaching; they even stoned Stephen to death because of their guilty conscience.
Where is the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob? He is the same yesterday, today, and forever; no one can withstand him in battle.
It’s Christians that don’t know their worth in the kingdom; there are prayers that we’ll pray that God won’t answer because He has delegated the power to us.
Those who called on God to take enemies away from them are fooling themselves; the power was given to stop their activities in Jesus name, and they must obey.
That is what the enemy is doing—closing the eyes of people from knowing who they are and the power that resides in them! That’s why Satan is delegating his agents to block the truth so they can limit the power and influence of God’s people against the devil’s kingdom.
Paul knew his authority, and he commanded the man distracting that governor from his gospel to receive blindness.
When the children of Jacob avenge the rape of their sister by killing all the men in the town, those who surrounded them couldn’t do anything because the dread of Jacob was in their midst.
How much more this generation of believers that the least among them are more higher than John the Baptist in rank.
Jesus Christ is not happy with this generation church because of compromise; He is ready to raise stones in their place if they refuse to repent.
Agents of darkness are supposed not to have comfort where the sons of God are gathering, not to talk of rubbing shoulders with them without feeling the heat.
Their presence in that place is enough to give them quit notice if truly they carry the power of the kingdom.
Jesus Christ didn’t just come to establish a kingdom; He also came to empower men for this purpose; it’s the kingdom of power and righteousness with joy in the Holy Ghost.
The kingdom of God signifies the presence of God on earth, which Satan and his agents can’t deny; it is we who don’t acknowledge it.
The rate at which Satan is using man as a shield is dangerous and alarming; he has possessed many children from the womb to disable the order of God and uphold the devil’s purpose.
It’s by force we must enter his domain to set the captives free and render captivity captives because our LORD has bound the strongman.
No one that is on the battlefield distracted by the things of the world will please his master; all the filthy things we attached to our body will be a hindrance to our dominion in Christ; this is what the devil wants.
Have you seen a woman soldier putting on make-up on the battlefield when arrows and darts of the enemy are flying about searching for where to penetrate?
This is the type of Christian that likes to be on the defensive side, for them not to become targets of evil arrows, not knowing that they are already caged inside a satanic prison.
That is why they keep on collecting prayer points to dislodge the enemy’s invasion into their territories, not knowing that they must first abandon the enemy’s weapons and dispose of Satan’s properties before their victory can be declared.
Jesus Christ gave us all things that’ll help us launch into the deep. He terminates our old life and gives us new life that is hidden in God beyond the enemy’s reach.
He removed our filthy garment—that’s our self-righteousness—to robe us with His own righteousness, one of the armours of our warfare.
He gave us a great and powerful weapon, that in His name every knee should bow, with His precious blood as the shield of protection against the devices of the wicked one and toxin that will neutralise every work of darkness.
I once asked a lady who was always afraid of witchcraft attacks, which one is greater, the one with snakes living inside of him or the one who is loaded with the presence of the living God?
When the ark of covenant was brought to the temple of Dagon, Dagon broke hands, and its head was removed because it couldn’t withstand the presence of the living God.
How much more the power that is embedded in the one that houses the living God, unless the devil has his hold on you like unconfessed sin and secret sins that will make you powerless, and if you don’t deal with it now, it will come back and deal with you in the end.
