2 Tim 2:19 (Nevertheless, the foundation of God stands sure; having this seal, the lord knows them that are his, and let every one that names the name of Christ depart from iniquity.)
God’s foundation is very sure, which is the LORD Jesus Christ, the rock of ages, and upon this foundation he placed the standard of His kingdom; whoever wants to belong must meet up with the maturity of Christ’s stature.
I was discussing this with an agent of darkness many years ago, and she revealed that every representative of Satan must have a serpent deposited in their body; in whatever part of the body the spirits occupied, they will make sure to destroy it before vacating the place; not only vacating, they’ll make sure they afflicted the body with cancer and some unexplainable sickness when it has finished using the vessels and decides to leave.
This is the reason many agents of darkness are not ready to dispose of their demonic luggage after giving their lives to Christ; they preferred to retain it because of the consequences of disposing of it.
In fact, the most wicked thing that Satan has done to humanity is to implant his properties into humans before they know Christ, and this becomes his seal, so if they decide to leave in the future, it will work against their advancement in the kingdom of God and will surely disqualify them at the gate of heaven.
Satan will not allow his captives to go free unless greater power is involved to dismantle his stronghold and open the prison door.
Most agents of darkness that give their life to God know this; they always go back to their vomit unless their deliverance is complete by God under total surrender.
For Christians to attain the growth of Christ’s stature, they need to dispose of all demonic properties in them that are preventing them from reaching the level God desires for them.
This is what Satan is fighting against in a believer; he won’t be angry with you for confessing Christ, nor will he be in rage when you declare Him as your saviour, but the moment you want to accept Him as your LORD, he’s going to set up everything deposited in you against your advancement.
If it was sin thousands of years ago, it’s still a sin in this generation and will still be a sin in the next, because the word of God never changes and no one is permitted to alter it for his own gain.
Civilisation can’t change it; neither modernisation nor even education can remove this standard, nor can the society we found ourselves.
If witchcraft was termed rebellion in the old testament, so also it is in the new; if the judgement against it is death, it’s still the same in this era; it’s only that the eyes of God will be against the witch for evil till he is permanently destroyed from the face of the earth if he or she refuses to repent.
To mix it with our spirituality is very dangerous for our lives; that is what prevents our growth to attain the level of Christ; how can those who used serpent spirits to prophesy in the gathering of the saints be part of the kingdom?
They may have tried to do it without the saints knowing, but it will alter the move of God in a gathering where His name is being honoured and will even retard their growth in the things of God.
This is the origin of why many Christians are not growing in the things of God; they have removed the ancient standards to set up their own, thereby altering the purpose of God for their calling.
We love our sin and don’t want to change to meet with divine standards; that is what makes unbelievers think that our God is less powerful than what was written of Him in the Bible, not knowing that as He was yesterday, He will also be today and will be forever.
Instead of us to change and repent totally, we try to modernise our sin and give it different names that suit the society we found ourselves in: sin still remains sin, and it’s abominable to God and will always bring separation between God and man.
No one with demons will make heaven; even if he is found on the pulpit or in the pew, it will prevent the growth of the people that are called by His name; they must forever depart from iniquity that is bringing them backwards.
We can see it in the lives of some Christians and be wondering, How long has this one been with Jesus and wasn’t reflecting the image of Christ?
It’s because there is another spirit entirely that is in control of his life that’s not of God.
Anything that makes you to be identified with God and still retain you in the sin of immorality after many years is not of God; whatever is making you jealous or envious of the progress of your brother in Christ’s is not the spirit of holiness.
You need to dispose of all before you’re called up to account for your deeds in the flesh; if not, it will alter your advancement to His presence.
Are you trying to meet up with His standard or do you want to remain mediocre? God is demanding holiness within and without; whatever is hindering us is our enemy.
It has become a stone place at the entrance of the spiritual sepulchre, and turn to padlock at the gate of the spiritual prison that is preventing Satan’s captives from gaining total freedom.
The Bible says, if the Son of God sets you free, you’re indeed free; it’s deliverance that came from the Son of God that is permanent, for with Him all things are possible.
Things that make you still masturbate since you have known Him for long are not ordinary; any sin that becomes addicted is powered by demons; allow the demons to leave, and you’ll see that you’re truly delivered.
It’s only outside God you’ll try to be free, and it will have repercussions, but if its in Christ, your deliverance is complete because our LORD Jesus Christ has bind the strongman.
It’s only Christ that can set you free; that is the reason He came—to elevate servants to sonship and translate men from the kingdom of darkness to the kingdom of light.
God wants to work in us to will and to do; it’s the presence of the evil spirit we allowed that’s restricting Him.
We were created to walk and fellowship with Him; it’s the fall of man that gave the devil permission to take the place of God, and the authority was withdrawn at the death and resurrection of Christ; we all have access to the presence of God and to give Christ all the authority to control our lives and bring divine purpose to pass.
Prayer: Father Lord, direct me in your path by your grace and mercy in Jesus name, amen.
