There are different gods that appear to man when they’re desperately in need of what to worship; that’s how God wired our hearts from the beginning, but the only occupant of that place is God; nothing stays there and satisfies; it’s until we locate him that will suffice our spiritual desires.
But if a soul can’t find what it was created for, it will still be wanting.
This is what makes man worship another man if they don’t see anything to worship; that is why Christ forbade any man to lord it over others in the congregation; we are all brethren, while Christ must remain as the LORD and the Master.
God placed a curse on anyone who worships idols; the judgement is terrible destruction, whether worship of images, things, or self. God wants no rival and won’t tolerate one.
Worship of God under false religion is also idolatry; those who are doing it are serving under His wrath; in fact, all religious fellows are idol worshippers; it’s only Jesus Christ that has become the religion of true believers.
That’s why you see some people hiding behind religion to worship Mary and Michael; it’s not including the name of Christ in your worship that made it acceptable before God; God doesn’t want rivals, nor does he want addition to His name.
It’s another way device by our enemy not to worship God perfectly; God is warning all believers to desist from idol worship; unbelievers are still under the stronghold of idolatry in whatever forms.
The image of the serpent in the wilderness represents the religion of the day; as men worshipped God under the law, it was permitted, but now it was Jesus that was lifted up on the cross that we must believe if we want to be saved.
Jesus Christ came to replace any other forms of religion; he is the gateway to the entrance of the kingdom of God.
All religions are not without founders; this made their followers serve their leaders and follow their ways and laws.
These leaders have become a blockage for their members to access the face of God; they stand in between God and their members.
That is the place meant for Christ in any organisation. He is the advocate of men sealed by God; it’s only Him we should worship, not any man or woman.
It’s the demoted principalities who desire men’s worship that came to established religion, while many pastors are introducing another dimension of God that is different from the written word of God.
Any other dimension that doesn’t require holiness and righteousness to seek God’s face is from the devil; the Bible says to flee from them; it’s a way of bringing God down to our level, which Christ has done by becoming a man to make us gods. God will never change His standard… to be continued.
