It’s not as if God is not ready to avenge us from all our enemies, but are we ready for it by first obeying the commandments of the living God?
This is the step that shows our readiness and will make all things fall into place as they are supposed to.
Jesus Christ is the LORD of hosts, and He is ready to fight our battles, but if we disobey Him, what could give Him the authority to fight on our behalf?
Our disobedience is proof that we don’t belong to His side.
The hands of God are not too short that He can’t deliver, nor is His ear too deaf that he can’t hear us; it’s our disobedience that’s standing between Him and our request.
By the time we complete our obedience, we will realise that He is always there to deliver, and He is ready to remove the hand of Satan from any area he is holding us captives.
You can’t conquer sin and remove its consequences without the spirit of submission; how will the devil bow to you if you’re not ready to surrender to the Lordship of Christ?
Satan and his powers only bow into submission where the Lords reign supreme, for it’s only in His name that power was given to put him under our feet.
There are steps arranged by heaven to put Satan under our feet and revenge all disobedience.
Casting down all imaginations that are exalting themselves above the knowledge of God in the heart; bringing every thought under the authority of God; removing all things that are working against our justification from the centre of our heart, and not permitting it to germinate and bring forth the fruit of bitterness.
Bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ: let the meditation of our heart be acceptable to the Lord.
Weapons of our warfare are not carnal; we can’t go to the physical stronghold of the devil to avenge with cutlasses and swords.
Our battle is spiritual, and so is the weapon, but it’s mighty through God to the pulling down of every satanic stronghold that is standing against our spiritual and physical advancement.
What is that stronghold that Satan has erected in your life? The place of Satan’s armoury?
That is where the devil places the weapons of fornications and secret sins; masturbation is the devil’s weapon to stop your advancement to the place where heaven is taking you.
It’s Satan’s stronghold placed there to reinforce his battle against you until you’re destroyed.
That sin that you think it’s normal because it has been with you from birth, or inherited sin from your parents that is running in the blood.
All things that are working against the ordinances of God that you love most are the stronghold of the devil.
Everything God hates that you still embrace in your walk with Him and you’re saying “it doesn’t matter” is the stronghold.
Brethren, until you repent of it all and abandon it at the feet of the cross, your obedience is incomplete; it will stand against you on earth and speak against you on the day of judgement.
That is the reason you should condemn every tongue now that wants to rise against you in judgement and withdraw its powers before it’s too late.
This is what gives way and readiness to revenge all disobedience and alter Satan’s plan that is working against our spiritual and physical advancement.
It is not the power of our father’s compound that is working against us, but the door we opened for them to penetrate.
That inherited and little disobedience to the word of God is the devil’s stronghold, which Satan is using to keep your life active for him till the future.
Jesus Christ says, “The prince of the world came, and he found nothing in Him.” This also should be our testimony against the devil.
It’s by total obedience we can have access to our inheritance in God; our heritage is hidden inside God, and it’s until we get there that we won’t be able to possess it.
That spirit that’s telling you to remain in that cult and still enjoy the benefits of the kingdom is the embargo to your progress; the evil spirit of disobedience that wants to retain you in the witchcraft coven is the enemy of your spiritual advancement, not your father’s house.
With total obedience comes total deliverance; there is no shortcut to your breakthrough.
That is why your enemy is presenting another way different from the way of Calvary for you to have your heritage; it’s just “bow for me and I will give you the glory of the earth” in exchange for the glory of heaven that can never fade.
This is a demonic transaction and replacement for the glory that we are going to share with Christ in his Father’s kingdom.
Unfortunately, we Christians are lagging behind divine expectations for our lives; little disobedience has collected great things from us and given us what doesn’t have eternal value.
Half obedience is equal to rebellion in God’s sight; he says, “If thou shall diligently hearken to the voice of thy God and do all his commandments which I command you this day.”.
These are the commandments we need to obey to enjoy the blessing of the earth, including the joy of heaven above.
A slight disobedience to the law of God will alter His purpose for man and will also deny him an entrance to His Father’s house in heaven.
