Matt 13:11 ( He answered and said to them because it is given unto you to know the mysteries of the kingdom of heaven, but to them it is not given)
The heart of man in this parable represents man’s life; there are different types of human beings living in the world, which are represented in Christ’s analogy in the parable of the sower and the ground.
The ground here represents the heart of man, while the seed stands for the word of God, and the sower is God himself, planting seed in the heart of man through the preaching of the word.
The first three different kinds of human beings in this parable can never be saved no matter the effort put into their salvation; that is why Christ won’t waste His time preaching to them, because He knows that their heart is hardened and closed to the truth.
The word of God sowed into them is a wasted effort, but we must continue sowing it so that it will stand against them on the last day, even if they refuse to come to the knowledge of the truth.
The only category of human beings that are receptive to the word and bring forth fruits is the good soil.
It’s this kind of human that Christ is searching for through the earth to bring them to salvation wherever they’re found so that His blood won’t come to waste in their life.
Some of them still belong to the coven of witches, and some of them are in fraternities and cults.
Some are in hotels in the midst of prostitutes playing harlots. While some of them are in the church playing religion.
But the magnet of the word of God will fish them out and bring them over to the limelight of God.
Wayside hearts are men without spiritual directions; they are receptive to the junk and rubbish dumped by the wayside but not receptive to the word of God.
They’re quick to learn evil trends making waves in society, including worldly music and movies with fashions that don’t glorify God.
But they never accommodate the word of God. They listened to the word, but it doesn’t have a place in them, and the prince of the world will come and remove it from their heart.
When you preach to them, they will be happy at first, but along the line, they backslide when witchcraft birds have trampled on the word and rendered it impotent.
They’re the ones who always make jest of the church and claim to have been there before but left for the reason best known to them.
They know all the law but will never obey any of it; they quote the word to argue their way out of spiritual discussions.
This kind of human being is not receptive and will never accommodate the word; they’re doomed for destruction, but it’s better to preach to them whether they will hear or reject so that the word will stand against them on the last day.
In hell, they will remember all that they heard but failed to do, and that will prick their conscience forever.
Stony heart man: this kind of people have made up their mind not to listen or follow the gospel.
Their mind is bound by religion and the tradition of their father’s house, they are the type that killed the messenger to silence their conscience.
Even if they’re pretending to listen, what they will do is already settled in their mind not to do what is preached but live according to their depraved mind.
They have set up their mind to believe in Satan’s lies till the end without remorse.
There are many of them around who are bound by demons and evil spirits to retain them in the prison yard of satan till the day of judgment.
They are outside the church and also inside; they are the ones who will frustrate the work of their pastors and evangelists in the congregation with their stubborn attitude.
They’re like the children of Israel in the wilderness, which, after the signs and wonder performed by Moses, still crave the garlic and cucumber of Egypt.
They never repented until they were destroyed in the wilderness under the anger of God.
This category can’t be redeemed, even with signs and wonder; they are like dogs and pigs that will receive your pearls and drag them in the mud and still come back and attack you.
It’s also good to preach to them so that it will stand against them on the last day when they will shout, ” Oh, had I known?”.
Heart of Thorns: these kinds of people are worldly characters and are under the manipulation of deception.
Even if the word is sown, they won’t allow it to germinate not to talk of growing and bring forth the fruit of repentance.
There are many of them among us, even in the church of God; because of their addiction to worldliness, they’re bringing it to the church to support their depravity.
It’s difficult for them to relinquish it, so they brought it to the church and included it in their service, not knowing that God and the world are enmity to each other.
There won’t be compromise between God and the world; that is how it will be till eternity; it’s them that will lose the presence and the favour of God.
It’s the deceitfulness of riches that is preventing the word from penetrating their heart. Even if it was preached, it wouldn’t have impact because it would have been choked out of their life.
The stronghold of worldliness built up in their Adams nature will prevent the seed from growing and fight against it till it withers.
What makes them transfer this to the church of God is indicating their unrepentant heart, this is what is blocking them from accessing the face of God.
They are not given to know the mysteries of the kingdom of God because they’re not ready to repent but are expecting the fruit of repentance.
You need to know where your heart belongs now if truly you want to repent, some will read this and neglect it as if it doesn’t matter to them, this shows that they’re on the other side of the fence and must be ready to face the repercussions when the time comes for neglecting such great opportunity to repent.
