CHEMISTRY OF THE BLOOD (Behold the Lamb of God)

CHEMISTRY OF THE BLOOD (Behold the Lamb of God)

John 1:29 ( the next day, John seeth Jesus coming into him and saith, Behold the Lamb of God, which takes away the sin of the world)

God commanded Israelites to remember the day of their Passover from Egypt to the promised land by killing a lamb for each family every year.

It was the day of their Passover remembrance that the lamb of God was killed in the city of Jerusalem to serve as a permanent Passover of mankind from the bondage and the slavery of sin to the new world In Christ.

Our Passover lamb is the son of God who came as a substitute for our sin and liberated humanity from the captivity of sin and its consequences.

It serves as the final blow to Satan and declares let my people go through the language of the blood, that they may serve God in spirit and in truth.

If they refuse to believe nor hearken to the voice of the first sign, they will believe the voice of the latter signs.

God told the Israelites to observe the Passover always from generation to generation as a reminder to the children what the LORD has done to set them free.

Likewise, as believers, we need to remember the death of the lord till His second coming by partaking in the holy communion of His flesh and blood.

The moment John the Baptist saw Jesus coming, he recognised the mark of God upon Him, that whoever the spirit of God descends and remains is the man; after he introduced him to the world, he disappeared from the scene.

Lamb or sheep are special creatures in the wilderness that the potency of snake bite won’t have an effect; their blood is also used to prepare an antidote for snake poison.

The serpent of sin has bitten humanity since the fall; it invoked the venom that pollutes human souls with works of the flesh and its consequences that become cursed to all generations.

Its activities killed the spirit man and suppressed it from guiding man’s steps, which eventually led to eternal destruction.

What can be so powerful to dislodge it and break the circle from having eternal effects?

The blood of ram couldn’t perform it, nor could the blood of humans; the blood of everyone is already polluted with the curse, and no amount of money can save one from the wrath of God or deliver one’s brother from the bondage to satan.

Everyone needs to carry the consequences of his own sin, and no one can pay with his life, even punishment for eternity won’t be enough.

Jesus Christ gave you Cross to carry so he could bear the consequences of your sins by dying on the Cross to set you free.

The consequences of everyone sins is hanging on the cross with Christ as they bear their cross and follow Him all through the way.

There was silence in heaven when the role was called in heaven for who to pay for man’s redemption and open the seal; it was the lion of the tribe of Judah who turned to Lamb that is worthy to open the book and lose the seal.

The blood of Jesus, who turned to the Lamb, becomes an antidote that neutralise serpent’s poison and frustrates devil’s work to brings man into alignment with God’s Will.

By shedding his blood, He reconciles us to God, bridges the gap which separates us from divine presence and makes us obtain the fullness of joy and find everlasting pleasures.

The sin of man is not ordinary; it’s backed by forces that are not understandable to man, especially if it’s now become addictive.

That is why it’s not easy to break free from the hold of iniquity; even if the spirit is willing, the flesh is weak till it drags one to the point of no return.

It’s not by power or might but by the spirit says the LORD.

Satan has taken all humanity captives, not only captives but locked them up inside his stronghold, dictating to them the next step of their actions that’ll ruin them forever.

All sinners are languishing inside the cage of the enemy; even those who claim to have received freedom are now being led back by their lust for the things of the world.

But whoever the son of God set free is free indeed; this is the hope of our salvation, and by His word, we are drawn nearer to Him in doing His Will.

What have you done for this blood not to be in vain? Have you stopped listening and obeying the voice of mercy by constant disobedience to the word of God and saying it doesn’t matter?

Are you not trampling on the blood often by listening to the word but choosing to disobey it?

There was a man whose son decided to open bar in a town, but the father disagreed because it would stain his image as a true believer in Christ.

This boy went ahead and opened the beer parlour, but on the day of launching, his father was the first customer.

He stood still by the door and stopped whoever wanted to enter and drink, but the man was dragging his father to the extent of beating him, but the father said, over his dead body would anyone enter that place.

Jesus is standing at the gate of hell, blocking the entrance with his blood stained body hanging on the cross, whoever finds himself there has trampled on the body of the son of God to get there.

That is why the wrath of God will forever rest on anyone who finds him or herself in hell at the end.

Prayer: Father lord give me the grace to follow you to the end, in Jesus name amen.
