Luke 17:5,6 ( And the apostles said unto the lord, increase our faith, and the lord said, if he has faith as a grain of mustard seed, he might say to this sycamore tree, be thou plucked up by the root and be thou planted in the sea, and it should obey you)
Disciples came to ask Jesus to increase their faith, but His reply was that if you have faith like a grain of mustard seed, it can remove mountains and uproot the sycamore tree and plant it in the sea.
Faith in the LORD Jesus is enough to get us to our destination in God no matter how little it seems to be.
It’s lack of faith in Christ that makes Christians go into deeper things of satan and enter into cults to have things done.
Had they has faith in the beginning, it would have been enough to take them to a higher height of God and become what God desires for them.
It’s the lack of faith that makes Christians add their own work to the finished work of Christ on the Cross and go beyond the written word of God to seek answers to prayers.
Jesus asked the disciples that if the son of man should come back, would he still find faith in the world?
This is a solemn question that none of them dare to answer, and it’s already happening that each person has to go different ways to seek the face of God without taking His word into consideration.

A man who asked Jesus to speak a word for his servant to receive healing and that woman of Sirophenica.
The centurion knew what authority meant and applied it to Jesus and received his miracles, and the lady of Sirophenica believed that she could eat the food meant for children if she took out the crumbs that fell from the master’s table.
We don’t need our faith to increase for God to answer prayers; it’s lack of faith that makes us ask for the increase of faith that is not there.
Faith is a mysterious element that binds God and man together and won’t allow a man to sin against God.
It’s those who believe in God and His word that truly fear Him, they keep his word in their heart always so they won’t sin against Him.
Those who don’t believe in God from the beginning of their relationship with Him won’t have their faith developed no matter years spent in His presence.
Take Thomas as an example in the Bible; he had been with Christ since the beginning of His ministry and saw all the miracles done by Him and listened to his words, but still did not believe in His resurrection when he was told.
So also those who prepare alternatives for themselves should God fail.
Since I have known God till now, God answered prayers the moment we prayed; it remains for us to trust in the process and wait till it comes to manifestation.
Most Christians who claim to believe in Christ actually have trust in other things and pretend to believe in Christ.
Some believe in their prophets more than God while some believe in anointing oil more than the blood of Jesus and His name.
Some won’t go to church where they’re not using holy water and candles; that is where they put their faith, not in Jesus Christ.
I once asked someone closer to me who goes to a white garment church why are they praying in the names of angels when Christ asked us to pray in His name.
Her answer was that praying in Jesus’ name won’t bring a quick answer, but when they pray in the name of angels, they give angels assignments directly that will bring quick answers to your request.
These are the lies of the devil that remove man’s faith in Christ and put it in the name of angels; these set of people will still claim to believe in God while deceiving themselves.
Even those Christians who added faith to the name of their churches don’t have faith in Him. Had they had the faith required, they wouldn’t have added to His word or removed from it to please their flesh; they professed Him openly and still disobeyed Him publicly.
They may claim to have faith in Christ, but it’s not the Christ of Calvary. It’s another Jesus with another gospel.
A Christian once said that she has faith in mustard seed more than the blood of Christ and His name; it’s difficult to bring this kind of people to normalcy as their faith is already perverted.
Before you can complain to God about unanswered prayers ask yourself where you direct your faith, God cannot be mocked and he will never fail, it’s human beings who disappoint themselves by putting their faith in dead things, God will never disappoint… be continued
