FAITH LIKE A GRAIN OF MUSTARD SEED 2

FAITH LIKE A GRAIN OF MUSTARD SEED 2

Luke 18:8b ( Nevertheless when the Son of man comes shall he find faith on the earth?)

Faith is in taking action for what you’ve heard; Abraham didn’t only believe but took action to move out from his father’s compound from among his relatives to the place destined by God, even though he hadn’t known the place before.

If your faith is in Christ, you depend on him only without addition.

There are different churches with different doctrines; their doctrines signify their faith, and this manifests through their prayers, which is why their request is always obstructed from reaching the throne of God.

Your faith doesn’t increase; it’s as if you want God to increase His power, which is not possible. Christ is the same yesterday, today, and forever.

If you lack faith, how will you be justified and declared righteous before God?

No wonder that unrighteousness prevailed in the church of God and among the people called by his name, which turned them into sinners.

The moment we believe in Christ Jesus, faith is inputted that will grow our spirit man and see us through our Christian journey.

Those who repented after listening to the gospel have faith imputed to them through the power of the holy spirit; without this faith, our message can’t bring them to repentance.

Those who honored Christ with their mouth but failed to keep his word in their heart don’t really believe in him; had they believed, they would have walked in accordance to his will.

Whoever goes to church to grow his faith doesn’t have that faith; it’s your faith that grows you to align with God’s word, not the other way around.

Judas followed Christ for more than three years. All he could think of was how to gain from him to the extent of selling him for thirty pieces of silver.

Who can find people among us like Job who’ll say even though he kills me, I will still trust him, or someone like Esther who said, if I die, I die, I will enter King’s chamber and require from him?

Or where is that kind of faith like Abraham, who said even though he slew him, he can still bring him to life, or the faith of the three Hebrews who said even though if our God did not deliver us from your fire, we won’t still bow down for your image.

It’s faith in his justice and judgment that’ll keep us from sinning against him, faith in his death and resurrection that’ll make us go to Calvary to bury all our sins and be resurrected to a new life.

Faith that our sin and the consequences are buried with him, so therefore, there is no more condemnation to all who are in Christ Jesus.

Who can display the Faith of the widow of Zarephath, who gave her all to Elijah with the belief that her source will never go dry?

Most Christians are living in poverty because they refused to surrender all at his feet because of fear of disappointment.

If God is asking from you, it means he wants to give in abundance, but you need faith to commit all into his hand.

You heard the commandments of Christ, and you deliberately disobeyed, thinking it doesn’t matter; how will the consequences not meet up with you?

Then you’ll start telling people who care to listen that God disappointed you; how can you continue in sin and pray that grace should abound?

Faith was so scarce among the Jews that it was difficult for Jesus to perform miracles in their midst; how is it now when Christians are digressing from the true way to follow the voice of the serpent?

Christians’ lives that are not controlled by faith will automatically be under the bondage of fear, which manifests in their relationship with God and man.

They are the ones who are afraid to preach the true message because of people’s reactions.

They run from their task to embrace the doctrine of Balaam and Jezebel.

They are the ones who refused to launch into the deep because of fear and stay in dead congregations to please their leaders.

These are the Christians who please man more than God; they believe in what they can see more than what the Lord promised.

They fight for the recommendation of men rather than welcome faithful servants into my kingdom that Christ will commend them on the last day.

They preferred men going to hell than losing their faces by preaching the truth that God sent them.

They are the ones who deny Christ in the face of persecution and trials and renounce their relationship with God to gain followers.

Lack of faith made the leaders lay a curse on any members who left the congregation.

What some people call faith is tempting God; how can you go into debt to satisfy your carnal nature and say God will provide?

Some Christians rely on faith and borrow money to bury their relations while the school fees of their children are calling for attention.

Instead of living within their means and believing in God for the next steps, they went ahead of God to fulfill their carnal desire.

When the tempter comes and finds that it’s not faith that is in your soul but greed, that’ll become a doorway to frustrate you and make you deny God’s existence.

When you walk by faith, you walk in his will, and if you’re walking in God’s will, he will surely make provisions for all your heart desires in his own time, that’ll bring glory to His name.

Prayer: Father Lord, deliver this faithless generation by your mercy, in Jesus’ name amen
