Gal 4:1,2 ( Now I say, that heir as long as he is a child, different nothing from a servant, though he is Lord of all, but is under tutors and governor until the time appointed of the father)
Every living thing needs to grow; this is a natural law and a sign of life in all living creatures; if it’s not growing, it’s not living.
A believer had been transformed and quickened from the realm of the dead and brought to life in Christ Jesus to experience the growth that befits regenerated souls.
We were once dead in the things of the world, rotten away in the prison of the flesh and the devil with signs of decadence manifesting through the works of the flesh, till it eats up the soul to enter zero level and damn it to hell in the end.
This is the situation of fallen man since the fall, but the death and resurrection of the Lord Jesus Christ brought the life of God into us and made us worthy to be among the living, Jesus took our dead nature on the Cross, exchanged it with his life and crucify it to the cross, and the signs of decadence removed by the presence of life.
As the souls received life so also every area that has been affected with decadence received the transformation by the power of the spirit to sense the presence of God.
We grow to receive the life that’ll make us reach the level of Christ’s maturity in stature, which will make us appear in the presence of God in the image of His Son, Jesus Christ.
Unfortunately, many Christians are yet to experience the growth desired to take them there; they want to remain as babes all the days of their lives and expect to see the face of God in the end.
Spiritual maturity is the key that’ll open the door of our inheritance to possess our possession in Christ Jesus; a child, even though he is an heir has no right to his heritage until he grows into maturity, who will give a babe weapon of war to fight, or who will give a little child something that’ll injure him even though he was eager to have it.
This is the reason many Christians are still wailing in the place of prayer, crying to God, when shall it be?
They substitute sacrifice for obedience and replace submission for offering.
God wants our total commitment to secure our place in his presence.
Spiritual maturity takes us to the realm of power; if you can’t love the way Jesus loves, you will mistake your friend for the enemy and fire those who are there to make you fulfill your purpose.
We grow into maturity through humility and total submission under the tutorship of the holy spirit; whoever still argues with the commandments of God is not ready for spiritual maturity.
Whatever refuses to grow will die; there is no other way to it; that is why many Christians are showing signs of rigor mortis and decadence, which they termed as weakness until they are finally devoured by the enemy and become candidates for hell.
Most of us desire to be fed with milk all the way avoiding strong bones to the development of our souls.
This results in most Christians having spiritual malnutrition that retard their spiritual progress.
Signs that you’re on the Lord’s side are the growth; whoever doesn’t belong to him shows in the amount of the works of the flesh he manifests.
Your spiritual maturity is determined by your discernment, to be able to discern the voice of God from the voice of the enemy.
Abraham recognized the voice of God and discerned His visitation; most Christians still mistake some supernatural with divinity; they admit that any supernatural comes from God and are misled to the will of their enemy.
That is the reason Satan manifests as angel of light to deceives the ignorant.
If you can still recognize the voice of your father, that will makes you mix lies with the truth, you’re still a babe.
Many Christians substitute obedience with prayers; they want to take shortcuts to receive from God; this is the highest level of immaturity, and that is why they mostly fall into the hands of fake prophets to disorganize their life.
They want their problems to roll away without repenting of the sin that placed them there; they want to continue in sin because it pleases them well as they still pray for the grace of God to increase.
There is no rottenness in the body of Christ, wherever it shows indicates the absence of Life that flows from Calvary.
Prayer: Father Lord wherever your life is absent in my life, quicken my soul to come in alliance with your will in Jesus name amen
