Matt 18:3 (and said, verily I say unto you, except ye be converted and become as little children, ye shall not enter the kingdom of heaven)
The challenge we have in the church of God is that no one is going after complete conversion since they believe that going to Church listen to sermons is what they need to do to be a Christian.
They serve in the church and go back home the same way they came; as long as their tithes and offerings are paid with their seed, their spiritual growth doesn’t matter to them anymore.
We don’t know the importance of evangelism since we aren’t experiencing true conversion that’ll make us bring others to Him for repentance.
All we do is steal members from other churches and turn them into our converts.
The challenge we face as the church is trying to convert others when we aren’t truly converted; it’s someone that the Spirit of God has performed a surgical operation by spiritual circumcision that’ll be able to bring others to Christ.
It’s what we have we can give. Since we’re yet to experience true salvation, how do we expect to show it to others?
The definition of conversion in this generation is when you attend church and enter your name inside the church register, occupy the pews every Sunday, and even hold positions on the pulpit, but if your name is not found in the Book of Life, your service is in vain.
We failed to tell the people we brought to church about sin and its repercussions. Had it been our parents taught us this, we wouldn’t have fallen victim to Satan’s devices before Jesus found us out.
This is the responsibility of those who truly converted and want to bring men to Christ.
They’ll want to extend their experience to whoever cares to listen and bring them out of the dunghill of the devil.
The presence of God doesn’t leave man. It’s we who walk away from his presence by the distraction of the world like our first parents did in Eden the moment they sinned.
The farther we move the farther you’ll feel the presence of his shadow till we become a lost sheep strayed from the watchful eyes of the shepherd.
True conversion is when you place him at your right hand and he is always before you by first seeking his opinion before making decisions.
Life is spiritual. Whoever wants to succeed must be spiritually sensitive.
Jesus Christ said that unless we are converted and become like little children, we won’t enter the kingdom of God.
True conversion is when we turn back from our former way of the world and direct our steps to the way of the Cross, where we humble ourselves daily and let God have his way.
It’s repentance from the works and the way of Adam to hand over the steering wheel of our life to the hand of the holy spirit.
We are like little children in humility; they don’t have grudges or keep malice, they love without dissimulation, and they’re quick to forgive and reconcile.
Little children don’t have enemies; that’s why their angels always behold the face of God for their protection; it’s sin that makes the angels depart from us as we gradually depart from the presence of God by sin and worldly distractions.
We were like that when we were young, but as the flesh is increasing its hold, the ability to live and mind our business is becoming higher.
We suspect others as enemies, even those we grow up together, become the watcheyes of the devil over us; why can’t they harm us when we’re together? But now they become the first on our suspect list?
Children aren’t selective or racist. They are anywhere at any moment, even in the house of their enemy or enemies of their parents.
Rich children can cohabit with the poorest of the society because they don’t know how to discriminate.
Jesus Christ was invited to the house of the pharisee for dinner; he didn’t object even when he knew that they were his unrepentant enemy.
Children trust and have faith in the words of the elders they copied and observed to follow what they learned in the future.
They’re teachable in spirit, eager to learn, and inquisitive in every way.
Whatever you tell them, it’s what they will believe until life teaches them otherwise.
That’s why we must positively train them so that when they grow up, they won’t depart from it.
The humility of little children makes them fit for the kingdom of God; it’s because of them and those who have their characters the kingdom of heaven was established.
Being childish is different from having child characters; the childish in the kingdom are those who refused to grow and enter into their inheritance because they are not different from servants, but childlike is the nature of little children in humility.
They are those who humble themselves to receive uplift to rise to the level of Christ in maturity.
Prayer: Father give me the grace to humble myself so that I won’t be humiliated in Jesus name amen
