Gal 6:3 ( for if a man think himself to be something, when he is nothing, he deceive himself)
People are talking about the deception of their enemy and also the deceitfulness of riches and the mundane things of the world; unfortunately, they wouldn’t notice their deception into believing the lies of Satan. Which is more dangerous than any other form of deception.
Even though you’re being deceived, if you don’t agree with such, it won’t prosper; a deceiver and the deceived are on a compromise for the deception to succeed.
If you’re avoiding the reality of the word of God you will fall into the deception of your enemy.
The Bible says,” Do not be deceived.” Those who are deceived have already deceived themselves into believing the lies of their enemy when the Bible tells us otherwise.
Even if someone tell them the truth they will argue their way out blindly, because that’s what pleases them.
You can deceive yourself by proving to be what you’re not; most of us deceive ourselves by believing that we are Christians when we don’t follow the ordinances that were written in the Bible.
Self-deception is believing in your own opinion rather than believing in “thus saith the Lord.” it’s not your opinion that God will use to judge; it’s what is written in the Word of God.
You rise on cloud nine in your deception, not knowing you’re gradually degrading to the pit of hell by not living according to what is written.
You can deceive yourself by not having a plan of where to spend eternity, pretending to be well when you don’t have the guarantee of making heaven.
You’re deceiving yourself when you do not care about your end but live as if you’ve just started instead of living as if today is your end because one day it’ll be the end, but where are you going when another chapter is opening after the last?
You’re trying to deceive yourself by behaving like a Christian outside while in secret, you’re a demon in human form. You can’t deceive God, neither can you mock him; he sees whatever is going on in secret and is ready to reward you accordingly.
Self-deception is much more than being deceived; you can’t be deceived unless with your cooperation.
There was someone who appeared at the gate of the heavens, and the angels told him to check his pocket, and he brought out lies; he later said that it was Satan that deceived him; the angel of God then summoned the devil, and he appeared.
The angels asked Satan, this fellow claims you deceived him into lying, then Satan said, when I came to deceive you, which kind of clothes did I put on, red or black?
The man didn’t know what to say, and the angel condemned him to hell.
God doesn’t tempt us; we are tempted by the lust of our hearts and deceived through our lustful desire to enter into the cage of the enemy.
The prince of the world came and found nothing in me; this is the testimony of our Lord Jesus Christ. The things in you that attract deception must give way by the blood of the Lamb so that when Satan comes, he won’t find any of his property.
Proud people always fall into their deception, knowing they’re nothing but pretending to be somebody for them to be respected.
We are nothing in this world, it’s the presence of Jesus in our life that elevates us to the level of Christ’s stature, don’t let it be too late before you know that you need Christ till you find yourself in hell that you’re not better than a rag trample upon by Satan and later cast into hell.
You’re deceiving yourself when you say there is still time to do right when you don’t know what tomorrow holds.
How many men have deceived themselves by the time they enter the door of eternity and see that there is time no more?
We deceive ourselves to maintain our ego until someone punctures it with the truth that we’ll realize that we have been acting foolish all this while.
Satan has deceived some people into deceiving themselves and used them to deceive others into believing the lies of Satan without seeking the truth that revealed all his lies in the Bible.
If Satan is deceiving you why can’t you stop deceiving yourself by agreeing with what God said about you and also agree with the only way of salvation and come out from this deception?
It’s the word of God that revealed the lies of Satan; if you don’t study it, how will you know how far you’ve gone in this deception that you can turn back before it’s too late?
Those who are deceived choose to be deceived; they allow it because it cooperates with their selfish desire.
Whoever choose to remain in bondage after knowing the truth are difficult to save, how can you deliver a person who lock himself up and throw away the key?
They know the truth but choose to live a lie.
Satan saw it in them before he came with his opinion; had he found something in Christ that was cooperating with him, he would have found his way.
But thank God, Jesus was not operating in the flesh but in the full power of the Holy Spirit.
Prayer: Father Lord deliver your children from the spirit of deception and let them see the reality of their life without you, in Jesus’ name amen
