Most Deadliest Weapons of Satan Against The Church: Introduction

I Peter 5:8 ( Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary is the devil, as a roaring lion, walking about, seeking whom he may devour.)

There are weapons in the armory of Satan, which he is using against the church of God of this end time (he had been using it for ages, but he is more resilient in this age). He has many weapons, but the deadliest of them is these three, which are fear, ignorance, and compromise.

Which I have discussed compromise in my last article The Fear of God Vs The Fear of Man By Arm of The Lord Christian Ministry.

If he can make you fall into one of these, he has already put you in check.

He strategized his antics to keep believers inside his cage perpetually; even if the door of prison is open, there is a tendency to remain inside because of these.

What Are These Weapons of Satan? Overview

Weapons of fear had been used for ages; this is what brought the church to this present state of compromise; it’s what is keeping us dormant and making us not come out of the tomb of destiny.

Even though the voice of resurrection and life is calling through the gospel, fear of rising to face the rage of Satan is keeping us perpetually there.

Fear As A Weapon of Satan

  • Fear of living different from others and fear of being called a fanatic for what we believe.

There are Christians that refused to rise up to fulfill the reason they were created because of what man will say; all they want is to move on with multitude and not dare to be different.

Fear is the reason many don’t want to leave fake churches; they preferred staying where their sin won’t be rebuked. Even some churches used threats to cage their followers, saying that if they should leave, there is danger ahead; they preferred to remain their till trumpet sounds.

  • Fear of offending family members: “Should I move forward to profess what I believe?” for they don’t want to be hated by people, especially family members.

There are those who believe in the Lord in those days, but fear of being cast out of the temple prevent them from confessing Him openly—people like Joseph of Arimathea, who used His grave for Jesus burial.

  • Fear of poverty has envelope some people that they dare not confess Him openly because of what they’ll loose.

A True Life Experience of The Weapons of Satan In My Life

I remember my dream many years ago at the beginning of my ministry: I saw large cemetery that I couldn’t see the end, but people were lying inside each tomb, which I also laid inside one of it, pretending to be dead.

The moment any one of those people rise up to do something, police will come and arrest them: because of it, I refused to join them to rise; I preferred staying in the tomb because of fear of being arrested.

So some people came from my church and entered the cemetery, and I was still lying down pretending to be dead.

One of them moved towards me and checked my pulse, and they found out that I was still alive but refused to wake up.

Then one of the elders said, Let us kill her permanently if she refused to rise up, and then I woke up from my sleep.

Brethren, this is the situation of many people in the house of God; those who failed to do what they were sent to do in the world aren’t different from the dead.

Some, out of fear, exchanged what they were given for counterfeit, they couldn’t wait and pay the price to get there; had Joseph accepted counterfeit from his wife, he wouldn’t have gotten to the throne of Egypt.

Most of them are there waiting for the time they will announce their physical obituaries, but they have been declared dead for long in the spiritual realms. No wonder Jesus told that man to let the dead bury their dead, which means, let the spiritual dead bury their physical dead.

How do I Overcome Fear? The Answer is Faith

It’s the fear of the unknown that is still keeping men inside spiritual grave, preventing them from obeying the commandments of God.

This weapons that Satan is using has caused many havoc in the church of the saints, the only antidote to it is “FAITH”.

Faith in what Jesus Christ has done, and faith in the Word of God and also in His promise: faith in time of ease and also time of persecution, faith that He will never leave us nor forsake us.

Faith that He is always with us, even to the end of the world; this is one of the whole armor of God that quenches the fiery darts of the enemy… To be continued

Prayer: Father Lord, my hope is in you, you’re my fear and my dread, don’t give me to Satan to devour, in Jesus name.
