A life without Jesus Christ is full of crisis; just like a life without the Holy Spirit, indwelling is like an empty barrel.
It’s the presence of Christ in humans that gives life meaning and a purpose; not only life but even family or nation with the absence of Christ will turn into a battleground for the supremacy of powers.
Life without Christ becomes an instrument in the hand of Satan; he manipulates it anyhow he wishes to fulfil his purpose and to achieve his missions.
That is why Satan is preventing the gospel from spreading and preventing his captives from escaping, so he can retain them for future assignments.
Whatever sinners or heathens are doing, that is what we can also do if we don’t allow Christ to have full control.
Most Christians believe that sinners are more terrible than them, not knowing that they are in the same rank; if the opportunity comes for them to sin without any man knowing, they will be willing to do it unless they repent, and if the repentance is genuine, they will perish likewise.
It’s not until a man commits a grievous offence that he becomes capable of being more wicked; the moment you don’t allow God to take full control, that is the moment your life is available for the enemy.
Man doesn’t become a sinner because he sins; man becomes a sinner because he was born with the nature of sin and has all the characteristics to do terrible things if he’s allowed.
A ruler of the synagogue came to Jesus Christ to ask what qualifies one for the kingdom of God.
Jesus Christ told him all that he needed to do, but the man wanted to justify himself by saying he had done everything since he was small; what is another thing that he hadn’t done?
Jesus Christ told him about what matters most—what he must do to become perfect in God’s sight—that he should sell all his properties and his earthly possessions and follow Him.
This is the area where he failed the test of perfection; he was not willing to be perfect and wanted to enter the kingdom of God; he never wanted to break the status quo but still wanted to enter heaven.
Jesus told the disciples that their righteousness must exceed that of the Pharisees for them to enter the kingdom of God.
The commandments given by Jesus Christ are to test his love for God and his fellow neighbour, but, unfortunately, he failed woefully.
He neither loved God nor had any affection towards man; all his love was centred on himself; this kind of thing can’t be achieved in man unless Jesus has total control of the heart.
It’s Christ in us that makes our religion perfect before God.
This is the stage of the Pharisee’s religion that they couldn’t proceed further because they rejected the only one that could make them whole and complete.
It’s Christ in us that elevates our status quo from that of the flesh to the one of heaven because He is our righteousness.
As it was very difficult then for man to accept the divine criteria of making heaven, so it’s still difficult now; that’s why many Christians couldn’t exceed the Pharisee’s righteousness to meet the level of Christ’s stature since they also reject the lordship of Christ.
For man, this is impossible, but with Christ, all things are possible.
Life without Christ is the dumping sight for Satan’s weapons of destruction against humanity.
Satan can’t operate unless he finds someone available; the only available instrument for him is a man without the touch of Christ.
It’s because most parents don’t have any affinity with Christ; that is what permits the devil to take over their children’s lives for his destructive purpose.
He placed his weapons and turned their bodies to his armoury, where he preserved dangerous ammunition for future assignments.
If, as a Christian, you decide to pray for their deliverance, you’ll become their next target if they are yet to decamp to the Lord’s side.
It’s good to introduce our wards to God and hand them over to the hand of the almighty before Satan locates them.
Whoever rejects the authority of Christ is already inside Satan’s captivity; there is no middle ground.
It’s only by the mercy of God we aren’t consumed; he renews it every morning; great is His faithfulness.
Any country that doesn’t allow Christ to penetrate will always live in confusion; as they disallowed the prince of peace to take over, their life will be devoid of peace.
The essence of His indwelling is for transformation from the nature of the serpent to the image of the lamb; that is where serpent poison becomes impotent and the power of sin is broken.
