Rom 12:1 ( I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy and acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service.)
Everyone who gave his life to God has become a living sacrifice on the divine altar.
It’s become our choice if we want to surrender totally to divine purpose.
God wants us to present ourselves, spirit, soul, and body on His altar; presenting the body becomes the outward show that separates Christians from the world and claims we belong to Him to make us identify with Christ.
Anyone who surrenders spirit and soul without the body is struggling with the Lord over his body and his life and is restricting the spirit of God from taking over His habitations in him.
Our body is the container of the souls that harbour the spirit of God; until we reach that stage, we are yet to be perfected in Him, and our service is yet to be complete.
This is the level God is taking us to by the power of his spirit, to surrender “to thus saith the LORD” and to submit under the authority of His word.
A living sacrifice is beyond the reach of the prince of the world; neither can it be stolen by Satan.
Our body is the habitation of the living God, which He’s using to dominate the earth and everything therein.
That is the seat of the kingdom of God, where he reigns from within the souls.
Whichever area we refuse to surrender will become the habitation of demons and every foul spirit of the earth.
If you’re yet to reach this stage, all your sacrifices are in vain because most Christians can give anything to God, but their body is beyond His reach.
If God is yet to conquer your body, he is yet to possess your life and will make Him deny you on the last day.
If you can’t surrender your body, your service is useless to God and won’t stand the test of fire.
How can your soul be for God if your body is beyond His reach?
This doesn’t balance the equation of holiness that heaven demands, or how do you surrender to God in spirit and the body becomes the dwelling place of demons?
Any area that is yet to be under the authority of God has become the habitation of evil spirits; there is no middle ground in spiritual warfare.
Your body belongs to God; you’re not on your own, and you need to work according to the desire of your new master. We were once under the service of Satan, slaving for him and his demons, but the hand of God located us and brought us to the limelight of the gospel.
If you still obey your old master and neglect the authority of the new one, meaning that you’re still under slavery.
Those who claim to belong to Christ and glorify the devil with their dress are the ones creating confusion in the order of holiness.
Outward appearance shows your dedication to the kingdom you belong to; if men don’t notice it, the people of darkness can discern so also the kingdom of God.
Many errors have been introduced to Christianity, which created strong alliances with the world and our nature.
Those who serve idols always glorify their gods with their dress; how should the people of God be different?
Immorality to the body is an insult to the habitation of God; whatever you do to your body will affect your spiritual life.
That is why many Christians are naked in the spiritual realm because they’re yet to be covered with the glory of God because of the ways their body is being used.
Sickness or disease won’t have a place to stay if our body is dedicated to God by living holy in His presence.
How can God take over one part of the body and sickness take over a part? Fire that goes before the Lord to devour his enemy won’t permit it.
You have the power to give them quite notice out of your life if you’re willing and obedient.
It’s the heads of those who are yet to surrender totally that turn to football in witchcraft covens.
Our body won’t become a playing ground for demons if we surrender it totally on the divine altar.
I remember a man who was grossly involved in adultery and fornication, but when he gave his life to Christ, he started listening to the word of God.
He dreamt that giant demons came out of his body with big manhood and left his life forever; this becomes the end of his sexual escapades.
The body on the altar of God will be too hot for the devil to penetrate; this is the beginning of deliverance for the people of God.
Broken spirit and contrite heart is what God won’t despised.
Prayer: I surrender my life on your altar; take preeminence in Jesus name, amen.
