Luke 18:22,24 ( Now when Jesus hears these things, he said unto him, Yet thou lacked thou one thing, sell all that thou hast and distribute unto the poor and thou shall have treasure in heaven, and come and follow me
24. And when Jesus saw that he was very sorrowful, he said, how hardly shall they that have riches enter into the kingdom of God!)
It’s just like those men in a country or community whose people committed the responsibility to take care of their welfare and started hoarding whatever is committed into their hands and diverted it for personal use are cursed by the people, so also those whom God gave riches to care for the needy and diverted it to their personal use shall be cursed by God.
As the curse of men is upon those who are hoarding food, so also the curse of God is upon all who diverted their riches to personal use.
Nothing belongs to us in this world. We are assigned caretakers for whatever is given to us, which we will leave the moment our time expires on earth and shall be given to another person.
We are caretakers of anything at our disposal and we will all account for it on the day of judgment.
Talents are given to individuals for the benefit of others and to edify the kingdom of God and propagate God’s kingdom on earth.
Whatever talent given shouldn’t be hidden or kept for personal use without binging profit to the giver.
Talent might be given to you to make wealth, but it is not in your power but in the will of God for others, many people’s destinies are hanging on your wealth, and if you fail to utilise it judiciously, many people might not reach the purpose of God for their life and their blood will be required from your hand for wasting it.
That is why it will be very difficult for the rich men to make heaven as most of them are not using it for divine purpose, only divert it for other reasons.
They will only end up like the one given a talent and hide it in the ground so it wouldn’t bring profit to the giver. That man was condemned, and the talent was taken from him and given to others who made profits with their own.
The word of God is a mystery. It’s only those who belong to His council that can understand it through the power of the Holy Spirit.
Riches are one of the most tempting talents; they make one believe that it’s their power that is given to them and must be used for their pleasure without taking God and humans into consideration.
Other talent might be used for others, but the deception of wealth is that you believe it’s meant for you, and it’s your power and strength that gets you there.
We are custodians of whatever is at our disposal; not all ministers of God are meant to be rich, and even Jesus’ ministry was taken care of by some women.
Jesus Christ used what was deposited in Him for the benefit of mankind; even His last drop of blood was shed to set humanity free from the bondage of iniquity and destroy the power of the flesh.
We all have different areas we are favoured by God, and it’s for the benefit of others to bring more souls to God and liberate others.
See any area you’re being favoured and divert it to the benefit of others. This is how you construct your eternal house in heaven; we are meant to use the mammon of unrighteousness to secure our eternal habitations.
Whoever fails in this won’t have anything to fall on when he gets there; the only solution is to go to hell, the place for infidels who waste their lives and time on things that don’t have eternal values.
Everyone living was given their resources and heritage, but we all wasted it in a strange land of sin before we realised and remembered our father’s house.
It’s better if you don’t waste it on things that don’t matter before you go back to your Father’s compound; it will be what you’ll fall back on when you get there.
The riches are not meant to be used on prostitutes and to marry second wives; it was given to lift people and bring them to the limelight.
You didn’t create yourself but came to the world because you were needed in divine arrangements; if you fail, some souls will be dragged down by your indulgence, and you will pay dearly for their blood on that day.
We are not redeemed to get out of poverty and afflictions, we are redeemed to discover who we are and discover the talent deposited in us and divert it for the purpose we are created.
