It’s good to have your life transformed from Adamic nature to that of the spirit of God for you to know the essence of life, when we are living in the flesh, our life works according to the dictation of the prince of the world, but walking in the spirit teaches us not to fulfil the desire of the flesh.
Living in the flesh makes a person channel heavenly resources to the things that gratify the flesh and harm the soul.
A believer who knows the essence of life will channel it to please the one who created it. These are the things apostles did after Christ’s ascension and distributed their wealth to the poor in their midst, that no one had more than others.
Those who God gave His message to become custodians of His word didn’t hoard it; they gave it out for the benefit of others and saved many people from destruction. They couldn’t hoard it for it became fire in their bones.
Prophet Jonah, who kept the message to himself and tried to run from the presence of God, became a problem to others who lost all their resources for his sake.
Your own talents might be your wealth; if not channeled into the right place, it will become a curse to the custodian.
There was a story of a rich man in America who was diagnosed with a strange illness that limited him to only eating crackers and milk for survival.
He had been given time to die without a solution till the man discovered that he needed to channel his wealth to benefit the poor of society.
The moment he started distributing his wealth was the moment the sickness disappeared and he lived to reach the age of ninety before he died.
There was a man in the Bible in the parable of Christ who thought only of feeding himself after a bountiful harvest without considering the poor.
He decided to keep it for his soul by trying to build a bigger and larger barn to contain his harvest, and then the lord demanded his soul at that moment.
What of the rich people who turned to the World Bank for the safe keep of their wealth, they go as far as possible to other countries to safeguard their wealth, many of them lost it the moment they died to the hand of a stranger, when they refused to carry their relatives along in keeping their properties.
They failed to use it for the benefit of the poor and the hungry and ended up losing everything.
If you don’t know the value of a thing you can misuse it for wrong purposes.
We discover our value and the value of things at our disposal the moment we surrender our life to God. Those who committed suicide wouldn’t have done it if they had discovered the essence of their current situation before taking their life.
This is why the wise among the rich take the measures of channelling their wealth by creating a foundation that will benefit the poor and less privileged in society.
Our resources on earth were given to us to prepare for our eternal habitation; this is our talent in the parable of the lord. Each servants were given talent according to their ability so that no one should envy others for a little or more given.
That is why we need to tarry in His presence to receive unction to function according to His purpose for our life.
It’s because we are far from God that is why we don’t know how to channel our wealth to the benefit of the needy. Some channel their own to benefit themselves; they buy houses in every city and use them for pleasure that later damned their lives.
Some women channel their wealth to beautify themselves by buying costumes and wigs to impress those who don’t know their values.
The river that doesn’t flow will soon turn into a lake. That is how riches who don’t find their proper place will stink and turn to curse the owners.
