Matt 28:19,20 ( Go ye therefore and teach all nations baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you and lo am with you always even unto the end of the world. Amen.)
The major ministerial assignment Jesus gave to the disciples was to go and make disciples of all nations and baptize them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit and to teach them to observe all things.
Ministry of teaching is what satan is fighting against most, and he is counterfeiting it to make it look real by his agents that are coming to the world to deceive and misinterpret the Bible.
Disciples are called to multiply more disciples, populate the kingdom of God, and depopulate hell with their teaching.
Whoever learns from the Master must extend it to others to build them up in the way of God.
This is a call to increase and produce more fruit into the kingdom of God and bring them up to reach the stature of the Lord Jesus.
Teaching ministry is what opens men’s understanding of the way of God; the gospel is the light and the truth that exposes every hidden place of darkness.
Knowledge is light especially the knowledge of God and His Christ, so also the knowledge of the word of God.
Ignorance of the word is no excuse. The results remain the same for those who are ignorant; it is destruction.
This is the most important ministry, and it’s the most lacking in the kingdom because whoever wants to teach must have learnt at the feet of the lord.
Most so-called teachers couldn’t endure the Lord’s teaching to the end; they left the sacred place of His feet to train others which resulted in half-baked Christians because half-knowledge is worse than ignorance.
That is why satan is dishing out poison as a drink to destroy people’s faith in God.
If this situation continues it will lead to degrading and lessen the value of our faith.
The growth of a congregation is determined by the knowledge of God impacted; that’s when they will increase in numbers; it’s only God that increases and multiplies, not by human efforts.
It’s necessary to draw men to God with prayers but it can’t be effective without growing them in the knowledge of God.
It’s by the knowledge that total freedom is guaranteed; the Bible says my people perish for lack of knowledge.
When you pray without the knowledge of the word, it becomes a sin; the word of God is the pure water of the souls that are sanctified; lack of it makes one filthier than ever, even with many prayers.
If you rely on only prayers to train the congregation in this spiritual battle, it makes your followers seek a place that’s more effective than yours, even if it leads them to the dungeon of darkness, for they’ll believe God does answer prayer anywhere.
How can repentance take place when you don’t give them the word that will convince their souls?
The more you learn the more the shackles of the devil got broken and the more freedom received that’ll guarantee their progress to the next level.
Nobody can finish learning about God, but the more we learn of Him the more we hate sin and separate from it and the more we grow closer to Him and have His fullness.
If anyone hates teaching but only depends on prayers, that person is not human; it’s only the devil that runs away from the truth so that his works won’t be exposed.
How do you make disciples when you aren’t teaching them? You’re doing deliverance for people without giving them the word that’ll keep them safe from future demonic invasions. How will they maintain their deliverance for long?
If you don’t teach your convert, how will you learn from Him to observe all things related to the law and keep it?
If you don’t teach them how will you increase the fold of Christ and be fruitful to the kingdom?
God made the first man in His image, but when that one gave birth he gave birth to a man after his likeness that was different from the original creation made in God’s image.
This is what most of us are doing to the household of God. Jesus redeemed us with his blood and made us in His perfect image, but the disciples we make have our resemblance, not Christ.
Instead of directing souls to Christ, we keep on directing them to self by creating different denominations against the original plan.
Are you the one who died to set them free or Jesus Christ?
Are your converts growing to reach your stature and stop instead of advancing to reach the stature of Christ?
This is because we are operating in Adam’s anointing. After all, we are yet to learn from the great teacher.
Instead of making disciples for Christ, we keep on increasing our pockets, taking advantage of our followers. That is the measurement of growth to others, but to God, it’s a loss.
We’ll all account for all we did for His kingdom; if we don’t gather with Him, we scatter.
