Matt 3:11 ( I indeed baptize you with water unto repentance, but he that comes after me is mightier than I, whose shoe I’m not worthy to bear, he shall baptize you with the Holy Ghost and with fire)
The closer we are to God the more we experience the fire that separates and brings us apart from the world, and the more the yoke and bondage of iniquity get broken, the more we receive his purification that brings us to the level of his stature.
Everyone who is called by the name of God must experience the fire that is burning in His presence.
The Bible says, “Who among us shall dwell with the devouring fire? And who among us shall dwell with everlasting burning?”
This fire is what prepared saints for eternal dwelling place with God in heaven, its only fire that can withstand fire.
Our God is a devouring fire, It’s this fire that devour the works of darkness and consume filthiness related to the devil in the souls.
The fire removed tares from the wheat and destroy everything acquires from Adam that’s blocking the true knowledge of God.
It removes the consequences of sin and cut the chains of iniquity and break the padlocks that locked us inside satanic prison.
Holy ghost baptism comes with fire, they works hand in hand for the perfection of the elects.
It’s unfortunate that Christians preferred the baptism of holy spirit but despise the baptism of fire, holy spirit baptism prepare us for the fire of God that will come upon every believer, which will test and confirm our relationship with God, that’ll transfer us into the family of God.
All these works together for the good of the heirs of salvation and bring them in alignment to divine purpose.
Most of us want to experience holy ghost baptism but avoid the baptism of fire.
When the apostles were baptized with holy spirit they received that of fire the same day, with the appearance of tongues of fire on each person head, they were all scattered all over the territories because of persecutions and trials, which drove everyone of them into their purpose in God, to preached the gospel and transmitted the message of holiness to wherever man is found.
It’s the presence of holy spirit in believers that attract the rage of satan and ignite persecutions and trials from unbelievers, that lead to the trials of our faith in the sight of God.
Experience of fire bring us closer to God and make us qualify to sit down with Him in His father’s kingdom.
Our position is in heaven where Christ is sitting and bring all powers under our feet, how do we exercise this if we refused the baptism of fire?
Baptism of fire make us holy and purify us, it removed the manifestation of the flesh and empower the spirit man, fire consume, it’s consumed anything working against divine purpose for our life, characters and nature inherited from Adam must give way for the manifestation of the holy spirit.
Holy spirit is ready to operate in us the moments we are baptised, but the flesh is not willing, that is why the baptism of fire is needed to dislodge the hidden places of darkness and give Him the chance to bring us to the level of Christ stature…to be continued
