The Devil had taken humanity into captivity since the fall; it’s the manifestation we are seeing in the life of the children of men.
He came into their life before they knew God with a covenant and curse attached to them in their family background.
The sin that’s common in your family is the rope that tied you to the ancestral linkage that’ll keep you perpetually under satan’s control even though you claim to be on the lord’s side.
Jesus came to set the captives free; He bound the strongman to remove his goods; human souls are the goods kept intact in the stronghold of Satan; it’s the blood of Jesus Christ that binds the strongman and announces their freedom.
Most Christians wouldn’t realize what Jesus has done because it’s lacking in what they’re being taught.
That is why they transfer the demons in them into the service of God and bring carry-over problems along on the way to the promised land.
Unfortunately, there are Christians in the house of God who still labor under curses as a result of their alliance with the powers of darkness in the past, which they don’t know the way out.
That covenant remains untouched, and the cursed remains unbroken; it pleases them well to retain it and still be in the service of God, but God won’t work with us that way.
Don’t let any pastor deceive you that you can train those demons to work for God; these are the agents of darkness assigned to perpetuate the devil’s strongholds.
An example is the damsel that followed apostle Paul with the strange spirit of divination, which Paul cast out not to pollute the original message of the kingdom.
Jesus Christ came to set us free at conversion; provisions are made with his blood to overcome the powers of darkness and subdue them under our feet.
It becomes our responsibility to destroy every attachment and relationship with the forces of darkness not to affect our new relationship with God; retaining them is like singing the lord’s song in a strange land.
I have counseled some Christians, and I know that their case is beyond ordinary; they have been in the service of God for many years but still have Satan as their master, which indicates their addiction to sin and evil habits, which they refused to abandon at the feet of the cross to move forward.
When you touch that area in counseling, there will be rage in the kingdom of darkness not to touch that area, while the demons are obstructing them from entering their heritage in the kingdom.
There was a girl I counseled, and anytime I mentioned what the Lord had done and the power in the blood, she would shout and tell me to stop because, at that moment, she would be afflicted with terrible headaches, and I wouldn’t be able to press further.
When God shows you the great damage that the devil has inflicted on humanity, you won’t have cause to crack any joke because it’s so sorrowful; no wonder Jesus Christ didn’t laugh in all his ministration on earth because of the extent of the devil’s damage which the children of men aren’t aware of.
The past relationships and covenant with darkness are still intact, thereby permitting demons to use their body as their habitation, which they say doesn’t matter.
How can a demon be using your body as a habitation to do evil to mankind, which you’re very much aware of and refused to let go of? This only means that you’re cooperating with satan to destroy the world even though you’re in the presence of God.
These are the type who parade prayer, Mountains, and prophets’ houses for solutions when they know what is wrong with them but fain ignorance.
The fruits of demonic habitation are visible in them; they masturbate, fornicate, and steal, lying, saying it doesn’t matter.
They’re trying to cut the branches and remove the fruit when the root is in the ground, waiting for the scent of water to rise again.
They don’t like affliction that follows their disobedience and rebellion but want to retain demons that place it there.
This kind can’t reach the realm of power to fight with the angel, not to talk of fighting with demons, because they are still under their command.
There’s nothing too difficult for God only if we submit under the authority of his word and put everything in captivity under obedience to the authority of Christ.
Satan’s grip on humanity is so strong that it’ll take the power of the Cross to break free; whatever you apply beside the Cross will only strengthen satan’s power over you.
A child that’s possessed and took to the white garment for deliverance only added another demon to strengthen the stronghold of Satan, by the time he or she grows up he will be operating in different and higher dimensions of power against the kingdom of God….to be continued
