Matt 10:37 ( he that love father or mother more than me is not worthy of me, and he that love son or daughter more than me is not worthy of me)
There are many Christians inside this kind of cage in this generation; you can’t be a man-pleaser and please God.
Many people have been caged by it, but they don’t realize it until it stagnates their efforts and puts their progress on hold.
That is why Jesus said that whoever loves mother, father, family, and friends more than me is not fit to be my disciples.
Most people are there at the gateway to progress to monitor and take control; if we allow them without seeking God’s opinion, we will go against the ordinances of God.
Some are so enslaved to man that they can’t do things without consulting man’s opinions about it; if they say it’s wrong to do it, so be it, even if God says go ahead.
Some parents become the driving force of their children’s lives; they won’t do things without consulting their parents.
If these parents are unbelievers, they’ll become instruments in the hands of Satan to obstruct their progress.
The person you love more than God is practically loved by you more than you love yourself; this is the most dangerous position human beings can be in.
King Saul respected man’s opinions and decisions more than God’s, thereby losing his throne to the persons who loved God more than anything.
That is why many people don’t make progress in life, because the entrance to their progress has been mounted with the enemy of progress who regulates and decides how far they could go in life.
Slavery, in man’s opinion, is bringing man to the position of a servant of servants.
God didn’t seek anyone’s opinion before he called Moses. Likewise, Elijah was called by God, and no one stood between him and God at his critical moment.
If a man needs to be a mouthpiece of God concerning your spiritual affairs, that means he wants to take the position of Christ, which the heavens will not permit.
God has different ways of dealing with his servants; a young prophet was sent by God and told him not to eat anything or pass through the same way while coming back.
But the old prophet confused this order and misled the young prophet to disobey God and meet his Waterloo.
No man ever trusted man’s opinion more than God’s and prospered because the man they believed so much wouldn’t allow them to excel above him and would surely find a way to regulate their progress so that they would continue to remain under them.
When God asks you to do something, who is there, that will confuse you that it’s not like that?
Who is a man who wants to judge another man’s servant and not minding his own business?
Many leaders are slaves of man in the church, so they regulate their preaching to sweeten their listeners when God says otherwise.
There is no way you will be afraid of man and still have the fear of God.
Most people who permitted themselves to be used and dumped by man are telling woeful stories when they believe and change them from God’s purpose and finally dumped them to pick another person who is better than them.
I find myself writing what God wants me to write, even if it’s against man’s opinions; they should find Bible verses to back it. I won’t be afraid of man and sin against my God; they’re not the ones who will judge me on the last day.
Twenty years ago a girl who came to plait my hair made a compliment that I won’t forget, she said,” this your beauty is striking, you need to advertise your body with makeup and use it to attract men who will eat you up like indomie and you’ll get money in doing this”.
Then I told her that is that what you came to the world to achieve, for you be eaten like indomie till you get spoiled and they will vomit you?
It was twenty years ago; if I had listened to this lady, my life would have spoilt beyond repair; I might have contracted a disease that is beyond medication.
But now I’m still bouncing about in the glory of God who saw me through.
Many ladies have listened to this destructive advice, ruined their marriages, and lost their purpose in the process.
Glory fades and beauty withers; it’s the glory of God that lasts forever.
God created you for his glory, not for fornication or adultery; whoever uses her beauty to please the world will have God to battle with; whoever destroys the temple of God, he shall God destroy “.
That’s why some died of sickness that defy medical explanations.
You did plastic surgery to impress men; you put on makeup to look attractive to the world; if everyone in the world is blind, will you dress the way you’re doing now?
Remember, the world that is shouting your praises today will be the one to accuse you when your beauty turns to ashes.
Some have been manipulated out of God’s will when they listen to the opinions of others rather than what God specifically told them.
There was a pastor who asked me many years ago why I was still congregating in a small house instead of moving to a bigger apartment.
Then I told her that I am waiting on God, anytime God wants, he will lift me, and I’m not rushing out of God’s time.
This man in question moved to a rural area to establish his church and kept on bragging about the progress of the church, but unfortunately, he lost his life with his wife on the same day and left everything to a person who didn’t know how he started.
This is the condition of whoever runs past the program of God; he will reach a stage where he needs God, but God won’t be there because he abandoned Him a long time ago.
It’s better to obey God’s commandments in establishing a church than to follow that’s how they are doing it.
A lady asked me years ago if it is proper to allow a lady with an open head to enter church and worship.
Then I said that if it’s her first, they should allow her, but if she is coming the second time the same way, they should offer her a headscarf; if she rejects, they should let her go.
That one comes not to be influenced but to influence others in doing things against the will of God.
But, unfortunately, the church said they should allow them, that they will change if they see others with head covers.
But now, the opposite is the case; these ladies have turned the church into a place of worship where they don’t cover their heads, for the church members started imitating them, that if they’re allowed, definitely they too can do it.
The Bible says, do not follow a multitude to do evil; if others are doing it, that doesn’t mean it’s what God wants for his children.
God doesn’t work with men’s opinions. He is not a democrat; he is a sovereign God who doesn’t need men’s opinions to operate.
If you marry a lady or man who always follows the opinion of his or her church leaders, your marriage will have problems.
They can’t live on their own and listen to God’s voice; it’s what Papa said, or Mama said, even if it contradicts the bible, that’s what they’ll follow.
Remember, slaves don’t have inheritance in the kingdom of God; they will still relocate to their father’s compound.
If you want to remain as use and dump before God, so be it but if you want to move to the level of sonship who only listens to the voice of his Father, so be it, you decide to remain in the level of a servant and also your decision to move further to receive the spirit of adoption whereby you can call God Father and He will call you son.
Prayer: Father Lord, deliver me from the bondage of man’s opinion and let me be totally committed to you in Jesus’ name amen
