1 Samuel 2:25 If one man sin against another, the judge shall judge him; but if a man sin against the LORD, who shall stand for him? Notwithstanding, they harkened not into the voice of their father, because the Lord would slay them.
It’s a terrible thing to fall into the hand of the living God, God is love, He loves man so much that he died to set them free from the clutches of darkness and bring them over to his light.
It’s a dangerous thing to play with his mercy and trample on the blood of the covenant; it’s also dangerous to be on his negative side; it would have been better if the person hadn’t been born.
God don’t normally reject a man; it’s only if man rejects him first to follow the evil of his heart.
He warns before giving up; God warned king Saul through Samuel but he refused to listen because God had wanted to destroy him and cut off his remembrance from the face of the earth.
God don’t just become an enemy; if we neglect his warning, because everything has expiry date, what happens next is to wait for his terrible judgement that follows disobedience.
All sinners are on God’s negative side; the anger of God rests on them everyday till they repent or perish.
Men are treading on the dangerous path daily for forsaking his law and following the dictation of our fallen nature.
If God should close his eyes against someone, even sacrifices and offerings won’t do the miracle, When he was angry with the house of Eli, his son was not purified with any sacrifice or offering.
There is a stage that man will reach before God take that kind of decision.
When God was angry with Saul, he closed his ears to the counsel of the elders and walked his own way by killing the prophets of God in Israel.
The Bible says, ” if God wants to destroy a man, he will make him proud.” That’s what he did for Nebuchadnezzar.
No man fights with God and win, There are things that we’re doing as Christians that God has sent his servant to warn us but we refused, even in the dream by opening our understanding, but because he has forsaken us, we won’t listen but go down the path of destruction.
That is why those who are crying in hell will never receive his mercy, for they’ve already trampled on it; whoever He’s rejected is out of His mercy and favour.
We’re on a dangerous path to hell; it’s the body of Christ that’s standing as an obstruction; whoever finds himself or herself in hell has trampled on it.
If God has been warning you all the while and you refuse to adhere to it, you will no longer hear the instructions; it’s because He has prepared your foot on slippery ground to hell.
Check yourself if you’re on the right side with God before it’s too late. Many ladies were warned not to use cosmetics and attachment, but they were waiting for God to speak to them directly. Since you can’t listen to the voice of prophets or pastors, even if he speaks to you, you won’t listen.
If there is coldness in your heart towards God and your neighbor, an attitude of not listening to correction, your heart is hardened to instructions; this indicates that you have been rejected by God.
The Bible says, “There is a way that seems right, but the end thereof is destruction.” Many Christians are on the wrong path; they collect the husband or wife of others, saying “it doesn’t matter.” They find it easy because God has forsaken them.
There are many people at the pool of Bethsida, but Jesus decided to heal only one with thirty-eight years of infirmity. Because the problems of others were sanctioned by God, He used it to bind them till the day of judgement.
God is angry with sinners every day, so are rebellious children. The way of transgressors is hard: it’s one error after the other till they perish.
Wealth or riches can’t determine the wrath of God; it might be that God put them in a slippery place till they fall permanently inside the pit.
All rebellions are fighting to overthrow God from the centre of the universe and from their lives; they want to rule their lives themselves and keep God out of the way.
A life that’s not under the Lord’s control is inside satanic bondage; there is no middle ground; the choice is yours.
Jesus Christ came to reconcile us back to God. He made the path through his blood; whoever wants to see the face of God must pass through Calvary.
That is the place of reconciliation that brings us in agreement with his purpose for our lives.
Anger of God won’t remove his gifts or diminish his anointing in us; when Satan was chased out of heaven, he was still operating in the anointing of old, but it has been corrupted.
So also Saul, after the spirit of God had departed, he still prophesied with the prophets.
The gift of God is without repentance; it’s because of it that many Christians think they are on the right side, not knowing that God has already forsaken them all along.
Coldness to the way and the thing of God is an indicator that God has already rejected you, just like a former fervent brother said that it is not a sin for a man to marry a man like himself if they love each other. A man that was fighting on the Lord’s side before now becomes Satan’s advocate; this is the worst sign that he has been rejected by God.
Prayer: Father Lord, do not leave me or forsake me; put my feet on the right path, in Jesus name, amen
